Med Business Days: Business driving the Mediterranean

ImageAs a major business meeting between European and Mediterranean entrepreneurs, the Med Business Days (Marseilles, July 3rd-4th 2008) are awaiting about 3000 professional visitors (investment promotion agencies, companies, economic development agents like the ADECI, ANIMA Investment Network, Enterprise Europe network, the Euromed Fashion Center, Euroméditerranée, the Marseille-Provence Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Marseille Innovation, Medinnov network, the Mediterranean network of engineering schools (RMEI)...) from 39 countries* for a thousand B2B meetings.

Two days of contacts, exchanges and information on Mediterranean issues (attractivity, innovation, partnerships, open market project...) and practical solutions in areas like transportation and logistics, environment, training and employment, agro-industries, new cities... Moreover, some firms will show how they have got new markets thanks to their strategy and their Mediterranean partners.

The Med Business Days are also awaiting famous political figures like Benita Ferrero Waldner (European Commissioner responsible for External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy), Philippe de Fontaine-Vive (Vice-President of the European Investment Bank), Christine Lagarde (French Minister of Economy, Industry and Employment) and Peter Mandelson (European Commissioner for External Trade).
