Since the end of 2006, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and its partners (Puca, Anah, Ademe, CDC, Umar) have thought of the Mediterranean building of the 21st century and intend to create a Mediterranean building institute in order to design tools and methods related to sustainable development (High Environmental Quality, natural resources management...). A call for tenders has been launched (deadline: March 3rd 2008). The final choice should be made in June, whereas the works should be finished by the end of 2011.
