As members of the
RMEI (Mediterranean network of engineering schools),
Centrale Marseille and
Polytech' Marseille have got closer with Italian schools.
Centrale Marseille and famous Roma La Sapienza university have signed an agreement to develop student mobility and let them prepare a double diploma (master 2 or engineering diploma). La Sapienza has also set up a master programme in maritime transportation security, in partnership with the RMEI.
With more than half of its students coming from Mediterranean countries, Polytech' Marseille has signed an ERASMUS agreement and a letter of intent with the Genoa University to set up a 'Joint Engineering Degree in Energy Management and Sustainable Development'. Polytech has also established links with the ENIM and Monastir University (Tunisia).
In September 2008, the RMEI, Centrale Marseille and Polytech' Marseille will organize a European Summer School on water management from Northern and Southern points of view, probably in Marseilles.
