The Sophia-Antipolis Foundation announced a partnership agreement with Morocco

Launched in 2005 to promote the opening of the Moroccan economy in its Euro-Mediterranean environment, the "EMERGENCE" program in entering a new phase with the signing last December of a partnership agreement between Sophia Antipolis Foundation, represented by its President Pierre Laffitte and the Moroccan Minister of Industry, Trade and New Technologies, Ahmed Reda Chami.

Such cooperation should allow the implementation at the regional level of competitiveness cluster around areas of high growth potential targeted by the "EMERGENCE" program : offshoring, automotive, outsourcing electronics, aviation industry , textiles , agro-industry and seafoods.

Since February, a mission of French competitiveness clusters will travel to Morocco to begin the implementation of this cooperation.
