Created in November 2007 in Marseilles, the French-Tunisian Chamber of Commerce, housed at Marseille Innovation, organized its first business trip to Tunis (April 24th-26th 2008).

The delegation of 32 economic bodies from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region met the Minister of Industry, Energy and SMEs, the Minister of Trade and Craft, the Secretary of State in charge of scientific research and technology, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tunis, two employers' federations (UTICA) and industry and investment promotion agencies in Tunisia. These meetings ended with a lunch organized for the French delegation by M. Abbes Mohsen, Tunis mayor, on April 25th 2008.
