Within the framework of SPIE international meeting on astronomical instrumentation,
Marseille Innovation is honoured to welcome in Château-Gombert, on June 24th, M. Mohamed Laoucet Ayari, who has been working in Lead Structural System Engineering at the NASA.
Tunisian, former student of the ENIT in Tunis (member of the Mediterranean network of engineering schools (
RMEI) chaired by Centrale Marseille school), he has obtained a Ph.D from Colorado State University. From the materials field to nuclear waste, he has ended by resolving critical issues on the main mirror of Hubble space telescope, whose contact lenses have been made by the LAM (astrophysics laboratory in Marseilles).
Mohamed Laoucet Ayari will discover the regional optics and photonics cluster POP Sud and the means which have been gathered on Marseille Provence Technology park in Château-Gombert, as well as the RMEI and the Technoptic business incubator project (Imaging - Vision - Lighting) with its technology centre and means for complex optical products design.
