The Euromed Fashion Center is an unusual project involving professionnals from the Fashion-Textile-Clothing sector within the Euro-Mediterranean area. The Center's aims are to consolidate the entire production chain close to the European market, to combine the advantages as regards costs and quality and to save  jobs throughout the MEDA zone. It encourages innovation and design by developing partnerships based on "win-win" outsourcing to maximise every partner in the zone and to encourage synergy and complementarity because, although the South is naturally one of Europe's clients and suppliers, it must comtinue to expand. The Euromed Fashion Center is based on the 4 areas of excellence that are fundamental to the Fashion-Textile-Clothing sector:

• Companies
• Training
• Design
• Multimedia

Objective: to network companies working in this sector to maximise the value chain and optimise discussions.
As a link for discussions and skills between professionnals in North and South, the Center will initiate, coordinate and support the introduction of a "service- based" approach for and by companies as part of a strategy based on both shores and Mediterranean.

Main projects:

• Platform for services and logistics in the textile industry
• Research into niche markets and business intelligence system
• Database of accredited companies
• Voluntary support for an Ethical Charter (social standard) and a Quality Center (industrial standard) with a view to ensuring sustainable development and respect for the profession.
• Detection, evaluation, and repertoire of good practices
• Textile&Clothing Business Development Center (corporate support structure comprising professionnals in corporate rapprochements)
