On December 3rd, Team Côte d'Azur is to welcome M. Tarek Kamel, Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, accompanied by his ten people team and about 15 IT businesses. The Egyptian delegation is to meet major Sophia Antipolis Science Park players, such as the Foundation Sophia Antipolis which will sign a memorandum of understanding with the ITIDA (Information Technology Industry Development Agency). They will also meet firms from IT industry, research institutions and competitiveness clusters.
This visit is a prelude to the French Egyptian days (Paris, Dec. 5th-6th) on which the Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology will get together with Ms. Christine Lagarde Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment and Mr. Rachid Mohamed Rachid, Minister of Trade & Industry.
