Spanish company Aguas has recently asked the Société des eaux de Marseille (Marseilles water) and the Port autonome de Marseille (Marseilles autonomous port) for help to face dryness with drinking water and raw water (for agriculture) shipments. Vessels departing from Provence could carry till 30 000 m3 water per day in food quality stainless steel tanks. Similar actions had already taken place with Spain, Sardinia and Algeria.
